wsc.dAmnby =photofroggy

Introducing wsc.dAmn

wsc.dAmn is a chat client for deviantART's chatrooms, dAmn.
The client is made using HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript. WebSocket is used for connecting to the chat server.

This client includes features from superdAmn and dAmn.ws.
No extra extensions or plugins are needed to get the experience above the bare minimum possible these days.

I am releasing this client as a replacement for dA's own client for the chatrooms, as it is terrible.

Be warned that there may still be bugs.

in addition, the away system does not seem to be working right. When you are away and someone PMs you, it does not tell them that you are away. Also, it doesn't allow you to put the {reason} command in the return message; hope all this helps.

Just wanted to let you know about the Headers for the "Title" and the "topic" areas of the chatrooms; if you have more then one line of room tabs open with the system, it doesn't push the "Title" and "topic" down to make room for the rows of chatrooms. If you need an example, let me know and I'll post one for you in my scraps

I already know about this. I am working on developing a UI to handle this properly but probably won't be done with it for a long time (exams etc.).

I love this chat client and use it daily, but starting today it won't load anymore. I would get the following, repeatedly:

11:21:45 pm ** You have been disconnected * no login
11:21:45 pm ** Connection closed *
11:21:45 pm ** Connecting in 2 seconds *
11:21:47 pm ** Opening connection *
11:21:47 pm ** Connected to dAmnServer 0.3 *
11:22:33 pm ** You have been disconnected * no login
11:22:33 pm ** Connection closed *
11:22:33 pm ** Connecting in 2 seconds *
11:22:35 pm ** Opening connection *
11:22:35 pm ** Connected to dAmnServer 0.3 *

I can't seem to find any forums on this issue otherwise I wouldn't post here. Any help would be appreciated.

Go to the [link] page, click "log out" and then authorise again. Simply a matter of your dAmn token being expired. I do need to make this work better, though. Sorry about that.
